  • Go to: https://tana.lakseelv.no/
  • If you bought a license at Norwegian side of river Tana from Tana River Fish Management (Norwegian side) last year, you already have a FishermanID. Log in with your ID, or your phone number.
  • If you did not buy a fishing license at the Norwegian side last year you have to create a new profile.
  • At your profile, you may buy licenses both for yourself and your fishing mate. Each angler/fisherman must have his own profile, and you will be able to find there name by searching on their telephone number after you have selected a license.
  • Anglers that did not report all their licenses have to pay an extra fee of 300 NOK in addition to the price of the license. You may pay this at the same time as you buy a new license online.
  • Your license is not valid before you stop by one of the local businesses that are selling fishing licenses in the Tana valley. They will control that the fishing equipment is dry or disinfected, and then activate the license. Remember to bring a receipt for the State fishing fee when you are going to the license salesmen.
  • We will repay anglers that regret buying the license, but only when they contact us before the first 14 days has past. You may contact us e.g. at the e-mail post@tanafisk.no
  • You will be able to change the fising days within the same week later on, but this change has to be done before the start of the fishing day.

It is only the fishing days for the border area that are made available in the web store so far. We will make the Norwegian part of Tana river available after Easter holiday.

Fishing rules

The fishing rules is for most parts the same as last year. There have been some adjustments in the protected zones in the river mouth. This is the main change for the tourist anglers in addition to the merging of the three lower fishing zones for fishing from the shore at the Norwegian side.
